Guitarist Blake Mills demonstrates the live performance capabilities of Apogee’s guitar interface GiO with Apple’s MainStage. Playing multiple guitar parts with complementary sound effects and amp selections, he uses MainStage’s Loopback feature to layer each part while changing patches and controlling transport functions with GiO. Without ever touching the keyboard or mouse, Blake seamlessly interweaves melancholic presets on stage to create a dreamy soundscape of rhythm and melody, using just his guitar, MainStage, GiO and a MacBook Pro.
